Requirements
- A typical day would include: Helping your client get washed and dressed in the morning Providing mobility support and encouraging movement and exercise. Light household duties to maintain a clean and comfortable home. Making their favourite dinner and enjoying it together
- All carers must attend and pass our 11-day induction course which is followed by a 10-unit e-learning programme and an annual 2-day course to update and refresh your skills. Residential training means we can spend time getting to know you and understand where your strengths are and which clients you would work well with.
- If you have an aptitude for a particular type of care i.e. dementia, learning disabilities, we can offer further condition-specific training to nurture and develop your skills. Link to training and development page.
