The Registered Nurse (RN) functions under the general supervision of the Director of Inpatient Services. The RN provides and supervises nursing care to patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation. The RN is responsible for quality outcome oriented patient care and is accountable for the delivery of safe care. The RN may be assigned to orient staff and students and to assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of the individual.

Recent experience as Registered Nurse working on a Med Surg or Inpatient Rehab Unit. Valid Registered Nursing License in the State of Alabama required.

Inpatient Rehab is located on the 4th and 5th floors of Parkview Randallia. It is a 50 bed unit that primarily serves neuro, ortho, trauma, cancer, cardiac, and peds patients who are in a recovery phase following an acute inpatient stay. Patients are typically moderate to higher levels of acuity. Independently plans and provides excellent professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders, established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice, Indiana Nurses Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics.
