Named after the "Ashwini Kumaras", (the twin gods of Ayurveda- also called the Divine Twins or the Heavenly Healers) Ashwini Ayurvedic Hospital is the dream project of Dr. Sheeba Raveendran, an Ayurvedic graduate registered with Maharashtra Medical Council.
Established in the year 2001, this is the first registered Ayurvedic hospital in Mumbai dedicated for non-surgical treatments of spinal cord and knee related problems, and specialised treatment for all types of skin ailments, through Panchakarma therapies. It has the distinction of being owned and run by a qualified doctor, committed to provide genuine medicines and authentic treatments to each of her patients consistently. Treatments in the hospital are based on pure Ayurvedic preparations derived from medicinal plants, which carry the healing and nourishing essence of the nature.
