Requirements

• A minimum of one years’ experience of working with Elderly
• people with learning disability
• resilient and a willingness to demonstrate and use your initiative
• Self-motivated
• NVQ/QCF level 3 Health and Social care (Adults) qualification or the willingness to undertake within your probation period
• Previous experience of working with people who display behaviour that challenges
• Data collection and evidenced based decision making will form part of your daily job (PBS plan development and implementation are supervised by a BCBA)
• implementing and monitoring support based on the Positive Behavior Support framework.
• Skills in planning
• numeracy and problem solving skills
• Strong literacy
• challenging behaviour and autism including experience in Makaton and PECS communication system
