Requirements

  • Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care
  • Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License
  • Other: Completes Hospital and nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually
  • submits to Nurse Manager/Education Coordinator.
  • Preferred Education: BSN
