We are currently hiring for Safety Technicians for all shifts. These positions will be responsible for overseeing the Temperature Screening Program at an Essential International Food Production Company. These positions pay $20 - $30 dependent on experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • First aid trained • Must be able to communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills • Must possess the ability to give direction and follow temperature screening protocol • Must understand and have a working knowledge of the plant safety policies and procedures. • Must be able to work effectively and with accuracy in a fast-paced, complex, and flexible work environment. • Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours • Create memos, letters, announcements RESPONSIBILITIES: • Be in regular contact with the ORM and HR department and communicate any problems in the temperature screening programs • Keep accurate inventory of temperature screening supplies • The lead temperature screening program • Instruct employees in the temperature screening protocols • Report daily, any issues with the temperature screening program • Partner with the ORM and HR departments to ensure that the temperature screening program is completed • Assist in advising employees who present with an elevated temperature • Track and follow-up (as needed) any issues identified during temperature screening
