Operational DutiesTo supervise & ensure that all clinical polices and procedures within the Hospital meets the requirements of licensing or accrediting bodies.To review and respond to any Medical Review by state of local surveys, inspections and accreditation & completion of statutory, statistical and annual reports.To represent the Hospital for all medical-legal issues if requiredDaily interaction with Consultants Staff and PatientsTo assist in ensuring operations within budgeted cost.To supervise Emergency Department, admission process and discharge process.To keep track of admission, discharge, leave against medical advice discharge, medico legal and deaths on a daily basis.To coordinate activities of the Hospital's Infection Control and safety Programs.

To provide nursing care and restore patient's health by practicing Nursing Protocols. To maintain agreed standards of care.• Perform approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures based upon patients' clinical status.• Monitor and record symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions and inform to physician.• Treating wounds and providing advanced life support.• Ensure that equipment or devices are properly stored after use.

A professional approach must be adopted with all patients, staff and visitors.2) Must work within their level of experience and competence and highlight verbally and in writing to the nurse in charge if they are being asked to work outside the level of their competences.3) To receive a hand-over report on patients from the alternative Medical officer when commencing duty and to enable and establish consultant communication.,They attend all casualty calls. Treat both out-patients and patients coming for admission. They usually treat simple cases by themselves and refer tricky or complicated cases to the same hospital consultant the next day.They go for ward rounds daily. Attend ward patients before the consultant, make note of the necessary changes in symptoms,blood reports and treatment.They attend all in-patient emergency calls before the consultant arrives.They sign claim and reimbursement documents.They certify death and issue certificates.Interested RMOs attend operation theatre procedures and assist surgeons.
