Job Description The Employment/Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist provides direct services to clients primarily in community based settings; they conduct vocational assessments and evaluation of the clients’ educational needs, vocational interests and abilities. They may assist clients with travel readiness; this includes accompanying them on public transportation to educate them about how to travel to work, appointments, etc. They may partner with community providers to build a rapport and a database aimed at developing leads for job/vocational possibilities. Job Description Associate Director (Tour Supervisor) is the administrative manager of the On/Off-Site Health Services Department during all tours (24/7/365). The Associate Director is accountable for the delivery of clinical services at the assigned NYC Department of Corrections (DOC) Jail-Clinics. In addition, the Associate Director will serve as the Correctional Health Service (CHS) liaison to the jail-based NYC DOC leadership. The Associate Director is also responsible for developing and maintaining positive, professional, collaborative relationships with the other external agencies to ensure a cohesive and seamless medical service delivery to all patients.
