gency nurses will be hired into their home unit then expected to float (potentially to the HRRU, as we would for any employee). While caring for patients on the HRRU, it is expected staff to wear full PPE (gown, gloves, PAPR or N95). Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on HRRU unit, unless PAPR is offered/needed.All other times, staff is expected to wear a mask when caring for none COVID patients and at all times while in the hospital. Staff will need to wear a mask upon entering the hospital. Once on the unit, a surgical mask will be provided to them to wear throughout their shift. Medical exemptions are discouraged as travel nurse is hired to float where needed during their contract.
