This position is based in the Family Support and Protection Team in Magnet House, Clacton. Candidates must have current, qualified experience within a Family Support and Protection team. Candidate also need to have court experience. This role is subject to the memorandum of cooperation and the pay rates are set for workers at £192 per day for PAYE and £207 per day for Ltd/Umbrella workers. Rate is non negotiable.All social care roles at ECC require driving, candidates must have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Duties of the post The Consultant will have a continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their charge and to undertake the administrative duties associated with their care. They will be expected to co-operate with the Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Management on organisational and budget issues. The on-call commitment and acute neurology ward attending commitment will be organised with the Consultant’s colleagues to ensure continuity of responsibility for inpatient care. In addition to inpatient and outpatient duties there are flexible commitments, including administration, management, committee work, relative interviews etc. The Neurosciences department has a strong history of Clinical Leadership, and we will encourage new colleagues to develop their Leadership and Management skills with education programs and mentorship. The post-holder will be supported in undertaking relevant audits in the specialty area. The post-holder will be expected to undertake CPD activities which will be supported through the agreed job plan. Active participation in appraisal and revalidation will take place on an annual cycle and access to mentoring is available through the Kent Clinician Development Programme. Length of contact: 12 month fixed term contract
