DESCRIPTION:• Supervise and support nursing staff, while also treating patients.• Responsible for maintaining a high level of patient care• Evaluate other nurses• Act as an educational source for the other registered nurses.• Direct admissions, discharge and the general flow of patients• Assign nurses and support staff to patients.• Must be flexible and able to prioritize and adapt during emergency situations.• Supervise shifts and document performances of the registered nurses.
