Phoenix Service Corporation has a part-time Independent Living Skills position available. This position has flexible day hours, working up to 50 hours a pay period. No evenings, weekends or holidays! The ILS Support Professional conducts assessments, coordinates independent living skills program plans, and provides assistance, supervision, and training in the area of independent living. They coordinate services between clients and outside agencies as necessary, including but not limited to vocational, rehabilitative, cultural, recreational, and medical services. The ILS Support Professional acts as an advocate for individuals and their needs. They assist individuals with planning and implementation of community activities and in-home recreational activities. They also coordinate transportation as necessary. The ILS Support Professional is responsible for completing and maintaining necessary documentation for Independent Living Skills services. The ideal candidate must have prior knowledge of disabilities/chronic illnesses; knowledge of independent living skills management. He/she must have a valid license and maintains a safe driving record and maintains a good driving record as driving company vehicles may also be required.
