Direct nursing care of residents encompasses planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the care of residents to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. QualificationsPossession of an RN State license/registration to practice as Registered Licensed Nurse (RN).Minimum of two (2) years (RN) nursing experience and at least one year of experience in a leadership role preferred.Possession of a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel required.Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.Caring, respectful attitude towards residents required.

This position will be working from home and will require the employee to make community visits once COVID restrictions are lifted. The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist is part of the provider care team who helps with diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions through the use of technical and scientific knowledge. This position is responsible for accurate, precise, and timely performance of laboratory tests. This position will be required to function as the lead technologist in the supervisor’s absence. Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Scientists evaluate and report test results while assuring compliance and meeting all regulatory requirements consistent with the quality of a World Class Laboratory. The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist will be required to exhibit excellent customer service skills in line with Mercy Signature Service in all internal and external customer interactions. Responsible for administrative and clinical functions within Emergency Services (planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the operations of the department). Works collaboratively with the ED Medical Director, and EMS Directors to ensure the appropriate care of patients that present to the emergency department.

Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
