The purpose of this position is to monitor telemetry patients. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. One (1) year experience or certification as an EKG Tech or monitoring cardiac rhythms. American Heart Association BLS-HCP. POSITION DUTIES: Responsible for observing the central cardiac monitor display, documenting, and reporting rhythms. Notifies appropriate parties of rhythm changes and arrhythmias as outlined per policy. Logs all patients off unit activities.
