Under the general supervision of the Director of Quality Management, the Quality Improvement Team Lead provides program and project management guidance and support to a team of quality improvement and assurance staff that facilitate division-wide quality management activities. May assume responsibility for Director in their absence.Responsibilities• Facilitate CHS QI committees, manage meeting minutes, and develop and provide presentations as needed• Project manage performance improvement initiatives• Develop quality metrics in-line with committee/service goals, signoff on data analysis and methods used by QM staff, and develop and deliver presentations• Maintain archive of QI projects and metrics• Assist with the development of data dictionaries and develop programmatic level knowledge of workflow and metrics• Assist the director with drafting the QAPI report and other NYC Health+ Hospitals reports as required, ensuring all entries are accurate• Assist with the planning and drafting of the biannual CHS Quality Management Plan• Coordinate medical record review and data collection as appropriate• Participate/lead root cause analyses and other quality control exercises• Perform other duties as assigned
