Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Readies patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient. Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.

• To assist the dentist chair side during examination and treatment of patient.• Prepare patients for dental treatment by draping with napkin, arranging dental instruments, materials and medications on chair side tray in the order that they are to be used, according to the scheduled treatment.• Prepare restorative materials and dental cements as required, and pass instruments to the dentist.• Sterilize instruments according to hospital protocol.• Expose, develop, mount and duplicate radiographs.• Provide post-operative instructions to patients.• Perform laboratory procedures including but not limited to fabrication of study molds, articulation of models, fabrication of hard and soft night guards.• Perform routine maintenance of all equipment and maintain logbook indicating proper and timely equipment maintenance.• Tracking patient’s prosthesis by logging cases leaving and returning from laboratory.• All computer functions including but not limited to making appointments, registering patients, opening and closing visits, printing dentist schedules, reactivating and reregistering patients.• Dental supply inventory and ordering via computer from vendor.• Participate in departmental outreach events• Patient recall, reminder, and confirmation calls• Ensure all work areas including but not limited to clinical and conference areas are clean and presentable• All other duties as required• This position requires rotations to different sites (current and future)• Schedules rotates; Tour II and Tour III
