Emergency room (ER) doctors assess and attend to patients who enter a hospital's emergency room. They immediately treat any injuries, infections, or other conditions to stabilize patients. ER doctors request medical tests for patients, create treatment plans, and recommend patients to appropriate specialists. Assit the Doctor on duty to provide care for Covid 19 patients.
Direct Employer
• Coordinates and manages their assigned panel of patient care across various levels of service (emergency, primary, specialty clinic, dental, mental health, substance abuse, inpatient, home care and all other covered services). Where required by the practice, responsible for the supervision of mid-level providers.• Direct participation in the twenty-four hour phone coverage for a reasonable number of primary care patients, which includes all of those in the Primary Care Physician’s own panel of patients.• Maintains a work schedule, including evenings and weekends that ensures availability and continuity of care. The primary care providers (MDs, NPs, PAs) within a service may share this responsibility in order to cover their combined practices.• Arrange patient session schedules that allow for both scheduled and non-emergent unscheduled (walk-in) visits by their primary care patients.• Participate in all administrative functions required of Physicians in the practice including but not limited to the QA Committee and peer review. Prepares necessary documentation.• Maintain a satisfactory workload that is consistent with the corporate minimum standards and which meets the needs of the practice.
