To take responsibility for diagnoses and management of mental health disorders and generalmedical conditions. The incumbent will be responsible for the provision of patient-centered, holistic andevidence-based care to a defined population. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the incumbent will provideclinical guidance and support to other members of the team.

The Psychologist level II operates through the Pediatric Resource Center, specifically in the Child Protection and Development Center, and is responsible for overseeing and providing psychology services to all children who are known or suspected to be the victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and/or neglect. The Psychologist works in close collaboration with child abuse pediatricians, social workers, and child life specialists, when children are evaluated for abuse and neglect.Duties include but are not limited to:• Prepare, guide and support children who are to undergo medical evaluations• Conduct developmentally-based interviews of children suspected of being physically, sexually or• psychologically abused or neglected• Conduct best practice forensic interviews on children who have disclosed sexual, physical or psychological• abuse and/or neglect or who present with a high suspicion of being abused.• Conduct trauma-focused psychotherapy to child and family victims of crime.• Evaluate at-risk children and families who may be a harm to self or others, or are facing loss oftheir basic needs.• Prepares statistics for crime victims seen on a monthly and quarterly basis.
