Reporting to the Laboratory Section Supervisor and according to established policies and procedures, performs various routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in order to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Analyzes and interprets test results and ensures accuracy of same. Repeats tests as necessary, especially those yielding abnormal or atypical results, and notifies appropriate personnel of such results. Certified / Registration with ASCP, NCA, NEW or equivalent registry. Able to coordinate testing procedures and clinical data with medical staff for the Laboratory Department. Must have phlebotomy experience. Have excellent verbal and written skills in English to facilitate with medical and technical personnel. Computer skills to communicate with medical and technical personnel. Bilingual a plus.Call up to 3 nights a week, one weekend per month.
