ABOUT THE ROLEThe Mental Health Addictions& Intellectual Disability Service MHAIDS Operations Centre has vacancies for Acute Resource Mental Health Support Workers to work in a permanent, rostered and rotating role for their team. This is an exciting and challenging new role, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals, families and whānau who are experiencing a short term mental health crisis. The role is part of a 3DHB service which covers the Wellington, Porirua and Hutt Valley areas. The main purpose of the role is to support the clinical team with practical tasks to allow clinicians to be more responsive to the acute clinical needs of individuals. These are 0. 93 FTE rostered and rotating positions.
