As a Healthcare Assistant you will: Complete Visual Field Test & OCT Tests on the patient ahead of their appointment with the clinician Assist medical professionals with patient treatments where necessary Support patients throughout their appointment Ensure full clinical room set up with required, equipment and medical supplies Provide administration support to the clinicians (this will include completing all COVID-19 screening questions prior to the patient entering the room) Ensure infection control protocols are followed and maintained at all times At the end of each clinic, it is your responsibility to ensure all patient notes have been completed and are visible on the system, clinic rooms have been cleaned down and left as found, report any stock requirements to line manager All equipment is accounted for and stored away correctly ** Please note that as we run a 7-day service you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/ 07:30 - 17:30/18:00. The base for this role is RG2 6UU.
