A post has arisen within HealthHarmonie for Optometrists with a specialist interest in Glaucoma to join our team in delivering community outpatient eye appointments. The position is for a specialist community optometrist who already possess the College of Optometrists Professional Diploma in Glaucoma or Higher Cert in Glaucoma and IP registered with a minimum of 2 years working in a glaucoma setting preferably a hospital setting or community based (or equivalent). As a Specialist Community Optometrist, you must be able to provide services in Glaucoma care. Your duties will include seeing follow-up patients for any of the below needs; · Dealing with Ocular-Refinement Patients · Management of OHT and suspect Glaucoma · Minor eye conditions · Patient support and education Testing Times The total patient testing / appointment time is 30 minutes which include the following: HCA – 15-minute appointment to perform OCT, Visual Fields, and Vision examinations Optometrist – 15 minutes for additional testing including patient history Locations / Days Available Mondays - Scanlans House (B93 0LL) Tuesdays - Greet Medical Practice (B11 3ND) Wednesdays - Greet Medical Practice (B11 3ND) / Hawthorns Surgery (B72 1DL) Thursdays - Hawthorns Surgery (B72 1DL) Fridays - Greet Medical Practice (B11 3ND)/ Lordswoood Surgery (B17 9BD) / Scanlans House (B93 0LL)
