The Gujarat Research & Medical Institute (Rajasthan Hospitals) is a charitable trust, founded and registered in the year 1982, when the members felt dearth of specialty health care facilities in and around the city of Ahmedabad and more so in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The trust aims to provide high quality health care and medical facilities and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in medical science by conducting research and providing training and educational facilities in the field of medicine.

It started on 15th November, 1984 with basic general healthcare facilities of outpatient consultation and 50 indoor patient beds. During the past three decades or so, the Institution has grown into

250 bed multidiscipline, super specialty tertiary health care centre providing succor in nearly all disciplines of medical science including alternative sciences under one roof, without distinction in caste, creed or religion
