Hepatology

A Hepatologist is a specialist in the branch of medicine called Hepatology, which focuses on the study of body parts such as the liver, the biliary tree, the gallbladder, and the pancreas. Hepatologists primarily deal with viral hepatitis and alcohol-related diseases. Their main objective is to identify the specific hepatic organ that is most affected and determine the extent of the condition in order to diagnose it accurately and recommend the most effective treatment. General Responsibilities: 1. Conducting consultations with patients 2. Maintaining patients' medical records 3. Examining patients and providing recommendations 4. Conducting liver transplants 5. Monitoring patients' recovery process 6. Providing supportive therapy 7. Monitoring patients who undergo liver surgery, such as a liver transplant, and providing them with adequate pre and post-operative care
