Description:
A Pediatric Rheumatologist is a physician who specializes in providing comprehensive care to children with rheumatic diseases. They work with a pediatrician or family physician to evaluate and treat a variety of joint, muscle, and bone disorders. They may interact with other subspecialists or rehabilitation professionals. Pediatric Rheumatologists primarily function in the outpatient setting but may also care for or consult on hospitalized patients.
