Phlebologists are specialized physicians who focus on diagnosing and treating disorders of venous origin, primarily in the legs. They are experts in managing conditions such as deep venous thrombosis (DVT), superficial thrombophlebitis, and venous malformations. General Responsibilities: 1. Record and evaluate patient's medical history 2. Perform physical examinations 3. Order and interpret laboratory tests 4. Diagnose and treat vein disorders 5. Determine the need for surgery 6. Schedule consultations prior to surgeries 7. Inform patients about all risks associated with the surgery 8. Perform relevant tests before the surgery 9. Perform surgeries to repair vein disorders 10. Consult with physicians and refer patients to other specialists if required 11. Schedule follow-ups to monitor patient's recovery 12. Advise patients on suitable aftercare measures and medication they might require
