Cardiologists are responsible for prescribing medicine, coordinating referrals, and conducting early-detection screenings. Additionally, cardiologists interpret test results to determine the effectiveness of the heart and cardiovascular system, utilizing medical imaging equipment like CT and MRI scanners for diagnosis and treatment. They may also assist or perform complex surgical interventions that require a team of medical professionals. General Responsibilities: 1. Prescribing medicine and coordinating referrals as necessary. 2. Conducting early-detection screenings. 3. Maintaining accurate patient records and charts. 4. Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and administration. 5. Interpreting test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning. 6.
