Practice Nurse - Pinhoe, Devon

Salary: £38,000 plus £2500 Welcome Bonus/Relocation 

Hours: Hospital operates 24/7. You will work shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Standard shifts are 12 hours, working 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next. 

You will work at a 16 bed purpose built acute inpatient service. It provides a safe and stabilising environment for women in crisis or who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

What you will be doing 

Take the lead in developing best practice and provide clinical advice to ward based staff on peoples physical health related concerns. 

 Establish and implement an annual physical and full medical screening for all service users. 

Establish and implement a screening process, taking bloods where necessary, to meet the mandatory testing requirements for prescribed medication.  

Provide a programme of health promotion activity Liaise and co-ordinate our visiting GP service.
