Home Health Aide

Home Health Aides provide valuable services for individuals in need of medical care attention between periodic visits to their primary healthcare provider. They offer assistance to those with disabilities, short-term chronic impairments, and short-term chronic illnesses, as well as individuals recovering at home following surgical procedures. Home Health Aides play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients in their own homes. General Responsibilities: 1. Taking the patient's vital signs and accurately recording them. 2. Providing basic personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. 3. Maintaining detailed records of home visits, documenting travel time, time spent with the patient, and the services provided during each visit. 4. Replacing sterile dressings and closely monitoring wound healing. 5. Arranging transportation as needed for patients. 6. Assisting with general light housekeeping tasks. 7. Collaborating with nurses, personal care aides, CNAs, nurse aides, nursing assistants, and other caregivers and in-home care professionals. 8. Observing and reporting on changes in patient condition.
