A Medical Summariser is responsible for summarizing all medical notes and letters. This role involves reading patient records and clinical correspondence and converting the information into alphanumeric codes which are entered onto the patient’s electronic record. The main objective is to provide healthcare professionals with an accurate and easily accessible electronic summary of a patient's medical history. The Medical Summariser plays a crucial role in ensuring that patient information is organized and readily available for healthcare providers. General Responsibilities: 1. Review patients' past medical history/reports and summarize accordingly 2. Extract and summarize all relevant information from patients' notes onto the system 3. Filing and retrieving paperwork to maintain an organized record system 4. Ensure patients' files are kept up to date and in order for easy accessibility 5. Code the clinical information onto patient records accurately 6. Adhere to all practice guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality
