Health Adviser
Description:
As a Health Adviser, your primary role is to provide assessment, basic health advice, and information to patients, assisting them in accessing appropriate care and managing their symptoms at home. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also have more duties than service advisers.
General Responsibilities:
1. Manage urgent and non-urgent calls from patients, members of the public, and healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses, and pharmacists.
2. Utilize specialist computer software to direct callers to the most suitable care or service based on their needs.
3. Offer technical advice and support to field management and health staff.
4. Develop, lead, monitor, and evaluate the health aspects of the country program.
5. Coordinate and establish networks at a senior level with national/regional health authorities and other NGOs.
6. Take the lead on all health elements of proposals and reports, while providing capacity building for national and international staff.
7. Promote best practices in health programs and contribute to the overall management of the country program.
