General Responsibilities:
1. Driving and staffing ambulances and other emergency vehicles
2. Responding to emergency 999 calls
3. Assessing patients, providing emergency treatment, and making diagnoses
4. Monitoring and administering medication, pain relief, and intravenous infusions
5. Dressing wounds and injuries
6. Using specialist equipment including ventilators and defibrillators
7. Transporting patients to the hospital and continuing to provide treatment while in transit
