General Responsibilities:
1. Applying orthopedic padding to provide support and alleviate discomfort for patients with foot conditions or injuries.
2. Administering physiotherapeutic treatments using specialized equipment to aid in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients.
3. Preparing surgical packs, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and organized for foot surgeries.
4. Assisting in the application and adjustment of orthopedic appliances, such as braces or casts, to promote proper alignment and healing.
5. Taking and developing X-rays of the feet and lower limbs to assist in diagnosing and monitoring various foot conditions.
6. Providing assistance during foot surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment and assisting the Podiatric Physician as needed.
7. Administering oral medications as prescribed by the Podiatric Physician, ensuring proper dosage and patient compliance.
