Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) are highly trained professionals who specialize in helping clients dealing with issues such as addiction, abuse, and mental illness. With their extensive knowledge and expertise, LCSWs provide therapy, counseling, and intervention services to individuals seeking mental health support. They play a crucial role in assessing clients, developing realistic treatment plans, and offering solutions-focused therapy. Additionally, LCSWs provide group psychoeducation and treatment for chronic medical conditions, as well as information and referral services. They also coordinate care, conduct crisis assessments, and provide other wellness-related services. Documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements and individual psychotherapy with children, adults, and families are also part of their responsibilities. LCSWs are proficient in electronic health record documentation and scheduling. They are dedicated to providing psychotherapy to both children and adults, and are always ready to fulfill any other duties assigned to them. General Responsibilities: 1. Conduct initial mental health evaluations resulting in realistic treatment plans 2. Assess clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc. 3. Provide brief, solution-focused therapy 4. Deliver group psychoeducation/treatment related to chronic medical conditions 5. Offer information and referral services 6. Coordinate care for clients 7. Perform crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions 8. Provide other services related to wellness 9. Document services provided in accordance with requirements 10. Conduct individual psychotherapy with children, adults, and families 11. Document and schedule in electronic health record 12. Provide psychotherapy to children and adults 13. Fulfill other duties as assigned
