Counsellor

Counsellors are professionals who utilize counseling methods in confidential settings to assist individuals facing personal difficulties. Their primary goal is to help these individuals overcome their problems and make appropriate changes in their lives. Rather than providing guidance, counsellors empower their patients to make their own decisions. They strive to enhance self-understanding and help patients find their own coping mechanisms or solutions to their problems. General Responsibilities: 1. Provide counseling services face to face, over the telephone, or online 2. Listen attentively to patients' concerns and empathize with them 3. Conduct detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to assess patients and determine appropriate testing or examination 4. Perform initial evaluations of patient needs 5. Educate patients on stress and trauma coping mechanisms 6. Assist patients in gaining clarity or a different perspective on their situations 7. Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs 8. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
