General Responsibilities:
1. Determining the nature and extent of illness or injury and establishing priority for required emergency care.
2. Rendering emergency medical and trauma care to adults, children, and infants based on assessment findings.
3. Conscientiously demonstrating effective infection control practices, including hand hygiene, waste disposal, and use of personal protective equipment.
4. Strictly adhering to standards in handling hazardous materials.
5. Computing medications using age-appropriate formulas before preparing them.
6. Administering regular and high alert medications safely and correctly via various routes, such as oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, topical, ophthalmic, rectal, sublingual, and aerosol.
7. Demonstrating safe and appropriate Intravenous (IV) therapy standards in a timely manner.
8. Providing emergency and urgent assistance.
9. Evaluating different approaches to problem-solving.
