Counselling Psychologist

Counselling psychologists are mental health practitioners who specialize in treating patients with mental health issues, emotional problems, and challenging situations. They utilize a range of psychological concepts and psychotherapeutic techniques, such as transactional analysis, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and the Milan systemic approach. Their primary responsibilities include offering patient consultations and implementing individualized psychological treatment. General Responsibilities: 1. Schedule patients and consultations 2. Listen to patients and identify their core problems 3. Assess patients using psychometric tests, clinical interviews, and surveys to obtain information on the nature of their psychological problem 4. Engage in discussions with patients and make them feel comfortable 5. Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust 6. Assist patients by offering them a structured and focused way of addressing their problems 7. Organize a long-term counseling plan 8. Create an individualized therapy plan 9. Maintain patient records and monitor patient response to treatment over time
