Radiography Student
Description:
As a radiography student, you will gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in conducting various imaging scans and procedures. You can choose to specialize in areas like mammograms or ultrasounds and continue to enhance your expertise through certification. Your primary responsibility will be to research and understand the structure of the human body and how different types of injuries impact it. This knowledge will enable you to provide valuable information to patients and offer reassurance during their visits to the radiography department.
General Responsibilities:
1. Provide reassurance and information to patients regarding their condition.
2. Transport patients to and from different departments and wards.
3. Assist in maintaining devices and accessory equipment used for image processing.
4. Report any equipment faults promptly.
5. Offer mental and physical support to patients during treatment.
6. Assist radiographers with various procedures, including clerical duties for biopsies such as appointment scheduling.
